Atacanter Horsebox Hire can now provide you with horse trailers to hire as well as self driven horseboxes.

We can provide you with the HB505 Ifor Williams horse trailers carrying 2 horses, this is the most popular horse trailer in the UK, we currently have the HB505 model but we are continually expanding our fleet to meet the demand.

Designed with horse safety and comfort in mind, the side-by-side stalls are ideal for transporting two medium sized horses.

You will need to provide insurance for the trailer, check with your car insurers to ensure that you are covered for towing a horse trailer on your car policy.

Rear doors
Louvered vents work in combination with the front and roof vents to ensure a continuous air flow through the trailer even with the doors closed.

Aluminium framed partition
Aluminium framed centre partition panels mounted on a central galvanized steel pole provide more space for loading and unloading.

Groom’s door
Positioned safely on the side of the trailer and within easy reach of the interior lamp, the Groom’s door allows easy and safe access to check on your horse.

Emergency release mechanism
In the unlikely event of your horse becoming distressed or getting into difficulty, the breast and breeching bars can be released. The receivers are released by unscrewing the retaining bolts from outside the trailer using the hex key supplied.

As always the horse trailers will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between each hire.

Security devices come FREE of charge with your horse trailer

All our trailers come with security devices to assist you in ensuring the safety of the trailer whilst in your care. The security devices we supply you with must be used on the trailers at all times when not being towed and it is a part of our terms and conditions that you do use all the security devices.

Coupling Head Lockable low profile coupling head ensures optimum clearance of 4 x 4 rear doors.

In addition to the fitted security devices we also supply you with a heavy duty wheel clamp for use on either of the rear trailer wheels. These clamps are a good visual deterrent and are one of the best clamps available on the market today and the bonus is that they are quick and simple to use. We use them throughout our fleet and having tried many clamps we have come to the conclusion that these are the best available.

This clamp is supplied FREE of charge with every hire.

All our trailers are supplied with a spare wheel fitted to the trailer and a wheel brace for you to use in the event of an emergency.
